Learn to manage your Scoliosis curve with Hend Wahsh, a certified Yoga for Scoliosis Teacher and a Yoga Therapist in training by the International Association for Yoga Therapists (IAYT).

Living with Scoliosis can be hard as it brings feelings of discomfort from pain and from the negative body image due to the main stream media always portraying the "perfect" body.

Yoga Therapy for Scoliosis sessions help you to gain back the confidence and acceptance of your body and help you to feel more aligned internally and physically. 

The sessions are one to one 1.5 hr long sessions, in which you are given customized yoga tools based on your body needs that help you to manage your curve and live a healthy and full filling life.

During the sessions, we first work on releasing tension off the muscles that are causing the pain then we work on lengthening, releasing and mobilizing the body. We then move gradually to strengthening postures when the body is ready.

After each session, you will be given a set of postures customized for you to practice on your own at home. 

You will need at least 4 to 8 sessions completed over 2 months to feel the complete transformation of your body and to integrate the home practice into your daily routine.  

It is essential that you commit on doing the home practice that will be provided to you to get the most out of these sessions and experience the difference. 

After completion of the 2 months, you will have a better understanding of your curve, you will be able to adjust not only in yoga postures but also in your normal day to day activities. Such as sitting, sleeping, working, walking and other sports activities. 

**The sessions are not intended to straighten the spine but to help you to find ways to stop the curve from progressing. We can’t promise that it will reverse the curve because at the end of the day, it is up to you to do the daily work and stop any bad patterns but it will definitely make you feel better after understanding what your body needs.
